The theme of soul offers an engaging challenge—to visually portray what is quintessentially invisible. The term neshama signifies the breath of life. A morning blessing (Elohai neshama…) avows: "My God, the soul that you have placed within me is pure..." According to Jewish tradition, each of us has a “spark of the Creator” –this spark is within us and is also our connection with an Infinity far greater than ourselves.
